Welcome to the Hawai‘i Mentoring Hui!

The Hawai‘i Mentoring Hui is a consortium of agencies, programs and services in the State of Hawai‘i that promote, support or offer mentoring opportunities.  We believe that all youth can benefit from a caring relationship with a positive adult role model and should have the opportunity to do so.

Mentoring relationships between adults and youth can serve many purposes.  These may include being a friend to a child from a single parent home; helping a child to develop his or her feelings of self-worth and confidence; introducing a youth to various career options; or helping a youth through the sometimes complicated world of preparing for post-high education.
